Ive never tried starting it if the temp was in the 30's or lower. Here in New England it isn't unusuall for the temps to drop into the 40's over night then rise to the 60's during the day. On some of them mornings Ive tried to start using the choke with no luck. It seem to only happen if the bike sits for more than 2 days? If I start it every morning its fine. But let her sit for 2 or more days and get good and cold and I will have to use the hair dryer trick or just wait untill the temp warms up outside.
